Library is supported through donations only. LWF assists the Library in raising funds, with an emphasis on purchasing large print books to aid our communities sight impaired readers. LWF has given grants and facilitated donations of over $59,000. During 2019, the Foundation facilitated $4,247 in donations and 2020 YTD of $2,261.
Funding for this free class, which provides relief and support to those suffering from dementia, including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s or stroke-induced memory loss, and their caregivers. Music therapists are there with musical instruments to sing along. The class provides time to share favorite songs, stories and laughter. The class meets the second and fourth Monday of

Lecture series provides 4 to 5 free lectures between November and March, in collaboration with the Leisure World Recreation Department. Residents are enlightened and entertained by a variety of topics and presenters. Over the last 10 years the series has grown to now average around 400 people per lecture.
