Roving grammarian Ellen Jovin travels all over the country and she’s landing in Leisure World, all the way from New York. She will set up her “Grammar Table” to tackle hot-button topics (capitalization chaos! Oxford comma disputes! Semicolon phobia!) at Wednesday morning coffee time. She will answer questions from residents about writing whether it’s in a note or in a journal or a business letter. Then in the evening, she will feature parts of her book, Rebel with a Clause, which is a conversational guide to English language rules, errors and linguistic debates or burning questions about grammar. She has been featured on CBS Sunday Morning Show and Parade magazine and other venues.
